Marta Caro

Marta Caro is one of the talented winners of the PAOM Endowment. A graphic designer based in New York, Marta created Isles, a collection that comes from a series of painted papers, printed with an ancient Turkish marbling art technique called Ebru. This method is based on sparkling color pigments on water, where they float and form swirling patterns. Her designs are inspired by the colors of Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso as well as the patterns in stones, landscapes and aerial photos from google earth!
