Becca Lofchie

Becca created Soft Book: Made from made from 25 unique patterns printed on Lightweight Rayon. The patterns are inspired by used, wrinkled, torn and overlapped materials- and borrowed imagery from her own collection of secondhand books, magazines, junk mail and clothing. Much of Becca's inspiration came from the artist's own living space. Piles of clothes on the floor and the mounting stock of papers and books on my desk. She is influenced by surrealism and the works of Escher specifically his'Drawing Hands'. Becca would love to design uphoolstery fabric and wallpaper and outfit an entire room in overlapping patterns
