Peter Gerakaris
Peter D. Gerakaris is an artist based in NYC. Like a Visual DJ spinning a kaleidoscopic mix, nature and culture converge in his Post-Pop Botanic paintings, installations, origami sculptures, and wearable art. This collection comes out of an immersive, site-specific solo installation he created with over 1,000 sq ft of mural imagery commissioned by Cornell Tech NYC. Everything starts by hand with paint and a brush, then is digitally before printing, so it an analog-to-digital-back-to-analog process.
