BEN SANDERS is an L.A.-based illustrator who (in addition to his personal art practice) is a founding member of Those People and Happy Hour Agency, collectives also based in L.A. Q: How did you make the prints you used for your collection?
A: They all started as drawings. Most of the subject matter stems from motifs I am currently using in my paintings, like weird letterforms, shoes, and flowers. I scan the drawings and digitize them, but I try to figure out as much on paper before it goes in the computer. I enjoy working analog whenever possible.
